Why this site exists

Accessibility options in games have grown quickly, but the details are scattered across publisher blogs, support articles and patch notes. Finding out whether a game has full remapping or menu narration can take an evening. We bring that information together in one place, in plain English, with every source linked.

Who it is for

Disabled players, parents, carers, teachers, occupational therapists and anyone helping someone else play. Most of our readers are in the United Kingdom, so we point to UK organisations and use UK terms.

What we do and do not do

  • We summarise official accessibility information from publishers, platform holders and UK charities.
  • We do not give medical, clinical or equipment-prescription advice. For health questions, speak to your GP or use the NHS website. For equipment assessments, a charity such as SpecialEffect or an occupational therapist can help.
  • We do not score or rank games, and we do not claim hands-on testing.

How the site is funded

There are no adverts, affiliate links or sponsored posts, and nothing is for sale. The site is run by Clearline Access Media Ltd, based in Bristol.

Independence

We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any game publisher, platform holder, hardware maker or charity named on this site. Brand names appear only so you know which product a guide describes.
